Hello Blog World! I’ve been wanting to document my DIY life for quite some time but wasn’t sure how I exactly wanted to do so. I finally made a decision, so here I am.
Introductions! Introductions!
Well I am a wife and a mommy~ I have been married for 5 years to a pretty great guy! I have two human babies and two fur babies. My son is years old and 3 and a 1/2 years old and my daughter is just over a year and 1/2. My oldest fur baby is nine year old cat named Phoenix and my youngest fur baby is a nearly seven year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Stevie. All are joys to my heart~
History repeats itself!
I was a graphic designer for a little over five years, lost my job and then went back to school for a bachelors. My bachelors is in human development and I currently am a case manager helping people who’ve lost their job find new employment. Once upon a time my ultimate goal was to become an art therapist, however, I don’t think that is the route I now want to go. My passion is projects and design! I love doing all sorts of DIY projects. These projects have a wide range of skill. Some require little skill but mainly just the initiative to do it, and some require research with the DIY-ers rule of thumb “measure twice, cut once”. I really enjoy the planning stages just as much as the work stages. The only problem now is finding the time for the work stages. Sometimes I get up in the mornings and do work vs. work out which was the original reason to get up before the birds. Gotta do whatcha gotta do, right?!
Back to the Future!
All of my posts will give an in depth description of my project along with some photos, with the occasional video. There are many projects that have already been completed. For these I may not have photos of every step by step but will try and describe as best as I can.
For now, I will be posting my current project what I like to call “the mobile height chart”, but you can call it whatever you want. I anticipate completing this project by the weekend and will have pics of the projects progress.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all enjoy my little blog and maybe even get inspired and do your own DIY-ing!
